*Practicum Experiences

Overview

Practica are field experiences in which students apply theories learned in their coursework to a student affairs setting while taking a seminar class led by a SAHE Faculty. In the practicum class, students discuss their field experiences with one another and engage with relevant readings to enhance their professional practice.

Practicum Opportunities

Local practicum experiences are available at ˜·Í¸²Ê, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, University of Wisconsin-Parkside, University of Wisconsin-Waukesha, Alverno College, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Mount Mary University, Carroll College, Medical College of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Milwaukee Area Technical College, and Cardinal Stritch University. Generally, students have worked in the following areas:
